If you need to know some of what is missing from the database,
have a look at the Fill empty items! list. You can also use the 'Add' links in the left hand navigation bar and all models will have an 'Add photo' link associated with them.
Why should I add data to the database?
The short answer to this question is because, as a paper folder, it will benefit you and the origami community at large simply by providing reliable information that can be searched and viewed at a later date.
It can also help make checking books easier, whether for purchase or research into a model or creator.
You can also register with the site and, while logged on you can
flag which books and magazines etc. you own. If you then want to
search for a model, you can restrict it to what is in your own list
of books. Or restrict it to websites to search for online models.
We hope that the ODB is already a useful tool. But that it can become even more useful as books, book reviews, models and photos are added and the website improved.
If the database has proved useful to you, then please repay that usefulness by adding more data... which will make the ODB even more useful and hopefully more people will add data, which will make it more useful and .......... ad infinitum ;-)
Thank you.
